Cencraft is a Minecraft multiplayer network with several different game modes, each offering its own style of gameplay. Whether you want a traditional Survival experience, the challenge of building an island in Skyblock, progression-focused Prison gameplay, unrestricted building in Creative, or fast-paced combat in KitPvP, there’s a place to start.
If you’ve never played on Cencraft before, this guide will walk you through connecting to the network, choosing a server, finding help, joining the community, and deciding what to do during your first day.
How to Join Cencraft
The main address for the Cencraft Minecraft Network is:
play.cencraft.net
Add that address to your Minecraft multiplayer server list and connect.
The main network address is the easiest option if you’re new because you can connect to Cencraft first and then decide which server you want to play.
If you already know which game mode you want, Cencraft’s individual servers also have their own subdomains that allow you to connect directly to that server.
That means returning players don’t necessarily need to go through the main network entry point every time they want to play.
Choosing a Cencraft Server
One of the first decisions you’ll make is what you want to play.
Cencraft currently offers several different experiences:
- Survival
- Skyblock
- Prison
- Creative
- KitPvP
You aren’t locked into one choice.
You can play Survival today, work on your Skyblock island tomorrow, build something in Creative, and jump into KitPvP whenever you want some combat.
Each server is designed around a different type of Minecraft gameplay.
Survival
If you enjoy traditional Minecraft progression, Survival is a great place to begin.
Cencraft Survival expands normal survival gameplay with multiplayer features including land protection, an economy, Jobs, player trading, an Auction House, voting rewards, and other tools for developing your place on the server.
You can travel into the world with /wild or /rtp, find somewhere to establish your base, and use /sethome so you can easily return.
Land claims allow you to protect your builds while still giving trusted friends access when you want to build together.
Survival is a good choice if you enjoy:
- Building permanent bases
- Mining and exploration
- Farms
- Trading
- Player economies
- Long-term projects
- Playing with friends

Skyblock
Skyblock starts you in a very different situation.
Instead of exploring a large world for resources, you begin with an island and gradually turn limited starting materials into a developed base.
Your early priorities involve protecting important resources, establishing renewable materials, expanding safely, and building farms.
As you progress, you can work with systems including challenges, island levels, visiting, warps, the economy, and other island-management features.
Skyblock is a good choice if you enjoy:
- Progression from limited resources
- Automation
- Resource farms
- Island building
- Challenges
- Economy gameplay

Prison
If you prefer clearly defined progression goals, try Prison.
Cencraft Prison revolves around mining resources, selling what you collect, earning money, improving your equipment, and ranking up.
As you advance, additional systems become increasingly important, including tokens, custom enchants, gangs, crates, prestige, auto-mining, and private mines.
The basic progression loop is easy to understand:
Mine → Sell → Upgrade → Rank Up
But improving how efficiently you perform that cycle provides plenty of long-term progression.
Prison is a good choice if you enjoy:
- Grinding toward milestones
- Upgrading equipment
- Building wealth
- Custom enchants
- Rank progression
- Gangs

Creative
Sometimes you just want to build.
Creative removes the normal resource-gathering requirements and gives you space to focus on designing and constructing projects.
Cencraft Creative uses a plot system so players can have dedicated building areas. WorldEdit provides powerful tools for larger projects and repetitive building tasks.
You can build independently or give trusted players access to collaborate on a project.
Creative is useful for much more than finished showcase builds. You can also use it to prototype structures you eventually want to construct elsewhere.
Creative is a good choice if you enjoy:
- Architecture
- Large builds

- Landscaping

KitPvP
If you’d rather fight than build, KitPvP gets you into combat quickly.
Instead of spending hours gathering ordinary Minecraft resources, KitPvP is centered around getting equipped and fighting other players.
Success involves more than simply attacking quickly.
Movement, aim, positioning, equipment management, situational awareness, target selection, and knowing when to engage all affect your performance.
KitPvP is a good choice if you enjoy:
- Player-versus-player combat
- Fast gameplay
- Improving mechanical skills
- Competitive fights
- Practicing movement and aim
- Fighting different opponents

Which Server Should I Start With?
There’s no required starting server.
If you’re completely unsure, choose based on what you normally enjoy in Minecraft.
Choose Survival if you want the closest experience to traditional multiplayer Minecraft.
Choose Skyblock if you like building progression around limited resources and automation.
Choose Prison if you enjoy grinding, upgrades, ranks, and measurable progression.
Choose Creative if building is your main interest.
Choose KitPvP if you primarily want combat.
And remember: choosing one doesn’t prevent you from playing the others.
Part of being on a Minecraft network is having several types of gameplay available without needing to leave the community.
Direct Server Connections
The easiest way to join Cencraft is:
play.cencraft.net
However, Cencraft’s individual servers also have dedicated subdomains.
These direct addresses are useful when you already know exactly where you want to play. Instead of connecting to the network and then selecting a server, you can connect using that server’s address.
For example, Cencraft Survival has its own server hostname, and the other game modes follow the same network approach.
New players can simply remember play.cencraft.net. You can learn the individual server addresses later as you decide which game modes you play most often.
Your Cencraft Account
Cencraft also has website accounts that provide access to community features outside the Minecraft server itself.
The website account system gives Cencraft a central identity across supported parts of the network rather than requiring completely unrelated accounts for every Cencraft service.
When using website features that require an account, use the Sign In option on the Cencraft website.
If a particular page requires authentication, you’ll be directed through Cencraft’s sign-in system.
Explore the Cencraft Website
The Cencraft website is more than a server list.
You can use it to find information about the network, check server information, read Guides, vote, access community features, and use other Cencraft services.
If you’re new, the Guides section is particularly useful.
Each game mode has its own category, so you don’t have to search through unrelated information when you’re trying to learn one server.
As the network changes, Cencraft Guides can also be updated independently of the game itself.
Voting for Cencraft
Players can support the network by voting for Cencraft on Minecraft server lists.
On supported servers, you can use:
/vote
You can also visit the Vote section of the Cencraft website.
Voting helps more Minecraft players discover the network and can also provide rewards to players who participate.
If you play regularly, checking the available voting sites can become part of your normal routine.
Join the Cencraft Discord
Minecraft doesn’t have to be the only place you interact with the community.
Cencraft has a Discord community where players can stay connected outside the game.
The Discord can be useful for conversations, community information, getting assistance, and keeping up with what’s happening around the network.

Connect Through TeamSpeak
Cencraft also operates a TeamSpeak 3 server.
Connect using:

TeamSpeak provides another option for voice communication with members of the Cencraft community.
Whether you prefer Discord or TeamSpeak is entirely up to you.
Getting Help
Don’t worry about understanding every Cencraft feature before you start playing.
Choose a server and learn the systems that matter to what you’re currently doing.
If you run into a problem, there are several places to look for help:

- Applications & Support on the Cencraft website
For gameplay questions, the individual server guides are a good starting point.
For issues that require staff assistance, use the appropriate support options available through Cencraft.
Follow the Server Rules
Every multiplayer community works better when players respect one another and the rules of the network.
Before becoming heavily invested in a server, familiarize yourself with the rules that apply to your gameplay.
Don’t assume that something is allowed simply because normal Minecraft makes it technically possible.
If you’re unsure about a particular action, ask before risking your progress or another player’s experience.
Your First Day on Cencraft
If you’re joining for the first time and want a simple plan, here’s a good approach.
1. Add Cencraft to Your Server List
Use:
play.cencraft.net
That gives you an easy address to remember whenever you want to return.
2. Explore the Network
Take a look at the available servers before deciding where to spend most of your time.
3. Choose a Game Mode
Pick Survival, Skyblock, Prison, Creative, or KitPvP based on what sounds most interesting.
4. Read That Server’s Guide
Each major game mode has a dedicated Cencraft Guide that explains what new players should know.
5. Start Playing
Don’t try to memorize every command or feature first.
Learn what you need as you encounter it.
6. Join the Community
Consider joining Discord or TeamSpeak so you can interact with other Cencraft players outside the game.
7. Vote
Use /vote or the Cencraft Vote page if you want to support the network.
8. Set Your First Goal
Give yourself something achievable to work toward.
That might mean establishing a Survival base, developing your Skyblock island, reaching your next Prison rank, finishing a Creative build, or improving at KitPvP.
Once you accomplish that goal, choose another.
